Flexible Organisation – Packing Tables SYSTEM FLEX for Fashion Specialist in Gronau, Germany
When fashion label monari (www.monari.de) developed its new logistics centre in Gronau, it was the perfect opportunity to restructure and optimise the company's intralogistics processes on a fundamental level. With this aim in mind, the fashion specialist sought out the help of our sales partner and expert Evers (www.eversgmbh.de). After a thorough planning process, two main focal points became apparent: ergonomics and workplace organisation.
Monari is a future-oriented international fashion label for sophisticated and fashion-loving women. The company has 200 employees, 16 stores, 500 partner areas and a further 2200 retail partners in 37 countries. The high standards that go into the processing of the high-quality fashion items are now also reflected in the logistics department.
Thanks to the newly Rocholz-equipped logistics centre, the processes and workflow are standardised in a way that orders can be processed more quickly. At the same time, very individual needs in terms of work ergonomics are taken into account: the modular SYSTEM FLEX logistics tables are equipped with electrical height adjustment. In this way the respective required working height can be perfectly adjusted depending on the operator and package dimensions. For a seamless material flow that is also back-friendly, pneumatic lift tables are directly connected to the packing tables and mounted scales with a ball surface are included, which make work even easier.
The required work material and IT accessories are integrated into the workplace in a carefully considered way: many standard accessories from the FLEX table series were added directly to the packing table: add-on storage rack, shelves for label printers, holders for tape dispensers, label rolls, display panel holders as well as holders for small utensils and folding arms for monitors and keyboards. Everything has its fixed (and flexible) place and is easily and ergonomically accessible.
Individualised add-on elements complement the equipment to a well-thought-out system. The under-table retractable shelf, for example, serves as a place for a laser printer and the hole in the tabletop above it ensures easy removal of printed documents. These and other customised components optimise the workflow down to the smallest detail.
